Deepwater Global Distribution selects HighJump Warehouse Management Solution

Deepwater Global Distribution (DGD) selected HighJump warehouse management system (WMS) to gain end-to-end supply chain transparency and satisfy increasingly complex vendor compliance requirements.

Hamstrung by its existing WMS, DGD engaged in a WMS selection process and selected HighJump WMS to better optimize outbound order processes and improve inventory management.

Critical functionality requirements included the ability to pick large orders with multiple pickers simultaneously. Prior to HighJump, inventory accuracy was degraded, resulting from space constraints and an inability to track more than four pallets per SKU in the warehouse. Thus more robust bin tracking and stock rotation was required.  The basic capabilities of the existing WMS, suitable for small companies, were no longer a good fit to fulfill hundreds of small parcel packages a day leaving DGD’s 55,000 square-foot distribution center.
